Lagniappe: Handling BCC on emails!

Tip:

If you email system allows for Rules:  Make a rule that will send all your BCC recieved emails to a special folder.  This will help prevent the mistakes of “replying to all” as well as make sure you know that you are receiving the information in without others knowing.

My second recommendation is to rarely use BCC at all.  I find it generally is a good way to get yourself into a problem. Especially at work.

I only use BCC regularly in two situations:

1) I bcc my wife on scheduling events related to work, just so she knows what’s there.

2) I bcc my “favorite networkers” and other DLL’s so that I can maintain my fellow networkers privacy.
